Important Notes Before You Apply
Educational Focus: The primary purpose of this show is education. We select horses whose issues can demonstrate important principles of holistic care to our audience. We’re looking for cases that will help other horse owners recognize similar patterns in their own horses.
Not Emergency Care: This show is not appropriate for horses requiring immediate veterinary attention. Please seek emergency veterinary care if your horse is in acute distress, has an active infection, or is experiencing colic or other life-threatening conditions.
Complementary Approach: Holistic Horseworks methods work alongside, not in place of, veterinary care. We encourage maintaining a relationship with your veterinarian and view our work as complementary to traditional care.
Results Vary: While many horses show immediate improvement during a session—standing squaer, moving more freely, showing relief in their eyes—lasting results require consistent follow-through with home care recommendations. One session can reveal and address root causes, but your homework matters.
Limited Spots: Due to time constraints, we can only feature a limited number of horses per show. Not all applicants will be selected. We prioritize cases that will be most educational for our audience.
We’re Looking For: Horses with chronic issues that traditional approaches haven’t resolved—the “mystery” lamenesses, the horses who are “just fine” according to the vet but clearly uncomfortable, the ones labeled as “behavioral problems” when they’re actually in pain. If your story sounds familiar to thousands of other frustrated horse owners, you might be perfect for our show.
