No previous experience is necessary. Whether you are a bodywork beginner or professional you will come out of this class with a new “view” and know how to find and fix issues causing problems with your horse. This method is so unique because it offers effective solutions to equine health questions many horse experts can’t seem to solve.
Looking at Horses
The reason why your horse is having these seemingly unsolvable issues is that most people you go to for advice— including vets, trainers, and many equine professionals— are only treating the symptoms, NOT the root of the issues. And that’s the way it’s been for years and years. But if “the good ole’ ways” just aren’t working anymore, now is the time to start looking at things in a whole new way.
Most horses that have been labeled as “problem horses” are really just in some kind of pain. A lot of horses sustain injuries from as young as 6 months of age that they carry with them through their entire lives. When left untreated, these issues can lead to all kinds of health complications, shortening your horse’s unrideable years. Even more serious issues may even shorten their life span.
Learn how you can look at your horse from a better perspective, HOLISTICALLY! As well as what you can do to help your horse yourself right in your own barn that will turn them into the willing and agile equine partner of your dreams.
LEVEL 1
Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding
Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding is all “soft work” but it is very, very effective in correcting gait abnormalities, saddle fitting issues, and mysterious lameness. (What I mean by “soft work” is that you don’t need a lot of strength for these techniques, anyone can do this!) These soft, gentle moves manually release “stuck” areas to keep the skeleton in proper form and function so that the horse can load the body, joints, and hooves correctly.
We’ll also cover deep muscle unwinding that will have the horse presenting a 2″ taller, 4″ longer and they look as if they have gained 20 pounds after only a 1-hour session.
As you know, horses are also sensitive and highly energetic, so this course goes over balancing chakras and aligning acupressure meridians, along with techniques in “listening” so that you can finally hear what it is your horse has been trying to tell you! (They don’t always communicate verbally.)
The key is to address the horse holistically, on all levels, not just the physical. Most equine professionals and other horse bodywork modalities do not address the whole horse, so you always end up working on the symptom and not the root cause which is why issues tend to come back time and time again.

LEVEL 2
Cranio Sacral Unwinding & Advanced Applied Kinesiology
Now that the horse’s body has been unwound and rebalanced from the Level 1 work, the next step is to bring it back to proper form, function, and vitality! Continue deepening your knowledge of holistic horsecare and bodywork in our Level 2 Clinic, “Equine Cranio Sacral Unwinding & Advanced Kinesiology.”
In this 3-day hands-on class, we will go deeper into the horse’s body to release cranial bones as well as inner core muscles and Fascia. Releasing these areas helps organs, tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, and more relax so that the body can function more smoothly.
Many horses with problems like Uveitis, Kissing Spine, Wobblers Syndrome, and String-Halt have had their lives saved or wholly altered from the techniques you will learn in this course. Return those labeled as “unfixable” to healthy, sound lives full of longevity.
Then what else is next? A lot! We use advanced Applied Kinesiology to ask where there is pain in the body and what physical or energetic blockages need to be released so the horse can heal. We will also look at energy meridians, how they affect your horse, and what you can do about it.
You will find that the area that is painful and lame is not always where it starts! Discover how to trace problems back through to the original, root cause.

LEVEL 3
Equine Cranial Decompression
* Since it requires very specific techniques with a delicate touch, Level 3 is only taught in person and is not available as a home study course.
In Level 3 Equine Cranial Decompression we work on manually releasing the the cranial bones to relieve horses from past head traumas, most often from a pulled-back when tied incident. Compression of the cranial bones leads to horses that spook or are hard to bridle, recurring uveitis, headshaking, TMJ, heaviness or resistance on one rein, and even the ability to gain weight, assimilate nutrition, or digest properly.
How do the cranial bones affect all of these areas? First and foremost we have to consider that the brain, hormonal, and glandular centers are all housed in the horse’s skull, and if the skull has been compressed, that can lead to unnecessary pressure and lack of blood flow to these areas that regulate metabolism, hormones, thought, emotions, and more.
Some cranial bones also hold the eyes in place, and if these bones are crushed or shifted, it could be affecting your horse’s vision leading to spooking, or inhibiting proper circulation leading to uveitis.
And when a horse experiences cranial compression, it often affects one side more significantly than the other, usually the side they pulled back on the hardest when they were tied. This compression cascades from the poll, through the bones around the eyes, and into the TMJ and jawline. This misalignment may be what’s making your horse heavier or resistant on one rein. It can also make it difficult for them to chew side-to-side as they are meant to, and instead, they chew up and down which creates hooks and waves in the teeth and often requires costly dental floating as a temporary fix. It also means they won’t process their food and thus their nutrition properly and can even cause digestion problems.
